Airworthiness Directives

Browse a collection of all current FAA airworthiness directives (ADs), in PDF format, applicable to Hartzell propellers. The collection is provided in reverse chronological order back to 1947. Also included is a summary listing of the ADs, in PDF format, that can be viewed online or downloaded.

Special Airworthiness Information Bulletins

The FAA issues Special Airworthiness Information Bulletins (SAIBs) to alert and educate the aviation community about safety information that does not meet the criteria for an Airworthiness Directive (AD). In many cases these SAIBS make recommendations to the aviation community. Read our collection of Special Airworthiness Information Bulletins (SAIBs) that may be of interest to owners and operators of Hartzell propellers.

Unapproved Parts Notifications

The FAA issues Unapproved Parts Notifications (UPNs) to alert and advise the aviation community about the possibility of unairworthy and/or unapproved parts having been placed in service. Hartzell has compiled a collection of Unapproved Parts Notifications (UPNs) that may affect Hartzell propellers currently in service, or propeller maintenance facilities that may be utilized by owners and operators of Hartzell propellers.
