PIQUA, Ohio — March 2, 1999 — Hartzell Propeller Inc. has obtained a Supplemental Type Certificate (STC) for installation of new three-bladed propeller systems onto Cessna A188, A188A and A188B Agwagons. The new prop is part of Hartzell’s growing family of lightweight, modern, compact piston propeller systems.

The new Top Prop™ system replaces older, obsolete McCauley two and three-bladed models. The prop will offer reduced noise, as well as an increase in short field performance which should be of significant help in this aircraft’s typical agricultural flight envelope. The same propeller model now offered for the A188 has seen service on hundreds of other Cessna A185, 206 and 207 utility aircraft.

The prop features the strongest coverage in the business … the Hartzell Plus Three™ warranty … which covers parts and service for three years or 1,000 hours. List price for the new propeller system is $7,195. The kit includes the prop, a new polished spinners as well as STC paperwork.

Hartzell propeller conversions offer pilots one of the easiest and most economical methods for improving the performance of their aircraft. With a wide variety of Beech, Cessna, Mooney and Piper aircraft kits available, the Top Prop family represents the largest and most complete propeller conversion offering in the world.

Hartzell Propeller Inc. is the world’s leading manufacturer of propeller systems, shipping product into more than 25 countries in 1996.
