Hartzell Offers New Three-Bladed Propeller Conversion For Piper Turbo Arrow III and IV

PIQUA, Ohio — May 7, 1999 — Hartzell Propeller Inc. has obtained a Supplemental Type Certificate (STC) for installation of new three-bladed propeller systems onto all Piper Turbo Arrow III (PA-28R-201T) and Turbo Arrow IV (PA-28RT-201T) aircraft. The new prop is part of Hartzell’s growing family of lightweight, modern, compact piston propeller systems.

The new Top Prop™ system will offer improved service and maintenance benefits including a 6 year 2,400 hour TBO (the longest service interval available), as well as an improvement in ground clearance, reduced noise levels, and elimination of the current RPM restriction placards.

The prop features the strongest coverage in the business … the Hartzell Plus Three™ warranty … which covers parts and service for three years or 1,000 hours. List price for the new propeller system is $6,995. The kit includes the propeller assembly, a new polished spinner and a set of STC documents.
