There’s less than a week left until EAA AirVenture Oshkosh 2018, and we’re getting ready for another celebration of aviation history, airshows, education, aircraft displays, and exciting new technology and advances with aviation enthusiasts from around the world. As we prepare for this year’s event, we’re taking time to note some of the “can’t-miss” events and activities at EAA AirVenture. Today, we’re highlighting informative Tech Talks conducted by Hartzell’s propeller experts.
During AirVenture 2018, Hartzell’s propeller experts will host a series of educational and informative Tech Talks at the Hartzell Propeller booth (Booth 296-297 in the Main Aircraft Display Area, next to the EAA AirVenture Welcome Center). The Tech Talks will cover topics based on some of the most frequently-asked questions we receive about propeller repair, conversions, and performance. If you’ve ever wondered about the best ways to care for your prop, or what type of propeller to choose for an experimental aircraft, our Tech Talks are for you! Below is our Tech Talk schedule:
Tuesday, July 24th at 10 am – Propeller Care and Basic Maintenance
Wednesday, July 25th at 10 am – How to Pick a Prop for Experimental Aircraft
Thursday, July 26th at 10 am – Composite Propeller Minor Repair
While you’re at the Hartzell Propeller booth, you’ll also see a range of our two-blade through five-blade constant speed aluminum and structural composite propellers on display. Check out our exhibit to see the 2-blade composite Trailblazer, 3-blade Bantam and Raptor applications, 4-blade aluminum and composite options, and 5-blade carbon fiber propellers.
In addition to hosting Tech Talks, our propeller experts will be available to answer any questions you may have about propeller maintenance, overhaul and repair services, and our Top Prop performance conversion program. We encourage you to stop in for a Tech Talk and stay to learn more about our next generation propellers.
