We normally use this blog to focus on our suite of world-class aircraft propellers for sale. Sometimes, however, there is an aviation event too cool to restrict ourselves to propeller aircraft alone. One such event came to our team’s attention this week. Ford is giving attendees of EAA Airventure Oshkosh 2014 an opportunity we just can’t ignore — five minute runs in a realistic simulator of the F-35 Lightning.
The US military’s newest aircraft has been a hot bed for controversy, but it is indisputably the most advanced thing in the sky (ASC-II Advanced composite props excluded, of course). We’re certain there will be a serious crowd vying to experience the F-35, so we suggest you get in line (behind us) as early as you can. Or, if you don’t feel like waiting, check out this exclusive demo of the cockpit simulator from Engaget.com
