Hartzell Introduces the ASC-II™ Second Generation Advanced Structural Composite Propeller

PIQUA, Ohio –May 3, 2006 – Hartzell Propeller Inc. announced today that a new two-bladed propeller was certified and is now available for 210 and 205 operators through the company’s Top Prop Performance Propeller Conversion program. Hartzell’s new propeller offers a modern replacement for the old, original equipment designs on Cessna 210, 210A, 210B, 210C, 210-5 (205) and 210-5A (205A) aircraft with IO-470-E and IO-470-S engines.

 

At 82 inches, the new prop matches the diameter of the aircraft’s original propeller but with a significant reduction in weight to 60.5 pounds.

 

As with most Top Prop propeller systems, the new kit provides an improved 2400 hour/6 year TBO as well as the exclusive Hartzell Plus Three™ warranty which provides a full three years or 1000 hours of coverage. List price for the complete kit is $6995 and includes the propeller, polished spinner, and STC paperwork.
