The countdown to EAA AirVenture Oshkosh 2025 is on! At Hartzell Propeller, we’re busy gearing up for another exciting week showcasing propeller innovation and connecting with pilots, partners, and friends across the aviation industry.
Whether you’re a pilot, aircraft homebuilder, or simply an aviation enthusiast, this is a can’t-miss event. From aircraft displays to educational forums, hands-on workshops, and unforgettable daily airshows, there’s truly something for everyone at the World’s Greatest Aviation Celebration.
If you’re OSH-bound, be sure to add these can’t-miss features, activities, and attractions to your AirVenture agenda:
There are literally hundreds of aviation brands and vendors to see at AirVenture. It’s worth making a game plan so you don’t miss a thing.
This year, Hartzell Propeller is moving to a NEW location — Booth 289 outside of Hangar B. We couldn’t be more excited to bring you a bigger and better experience with aircraft on display, free educational sessions, aerobatic pilot meet and greets, and, as always, Hartzell experts on hand to answer all your propeller questions.
Stay tuned for more details on the fun activities and events happening at our booth all week long!
Want to see all 12 zones of the Warbirds display area without putting in miles worth of steps? Check out the Warbirds Adventure Tram Tour Monday through Saturday from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Warbirds Tram Tour base in Warbird Alley.
Hartzell Propeller is proud to be a longtime sponsor of this free, 30-minute narrated tour. You can expect to see upwards of 400 to 500 jets, fighters, bombers, trainers, and other aircraft that shaped history. The tour is free, but donations are welcome and go to support the mission of EAA Warbirds of America. Watch a video about this special program here.
As the sun starts to set at OSH and the grounds cool down, the aviation fun is just heating up! In addition to nightly airshows on Wednesday and Saturday, you can watch demonstrations of a variety of aircraft, including drones, ultralight and backcountry aircraft, RC aircraft and skydivers at the Twilight Flight Fest on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday at 8:00 p.m. The 2025 schedule will also feature appearances by the Goodyear blimp and a hot air balloon glow.
One major highlight is the STOL demonstration, where you can watch the dozens of pilots showcase the capabilities of their aircraft — many of which are equipped with Hartzell’s signature STOL backcountry propellers, such as the Trailblazer and Voyager.
If you’ve never been to the Seaplane Base, presented by our friends at Wipaire, put it on your “OSH bucket list” immediately! Located outside of the main AirVenture grounds, the Seaplane Base offers a tranquil retreat with plenty of shady trees and picnic tables where you can watch seaplanes of all types (many equipped with Hartzell props!) take off and land on Lake Winnebago.
To get there, hop on a shuttle bus ($5 round trip) at AirVenture or drive and park. If you’re itching to get on the water, take advantage of the free pontoon boat ride with descriptions of the seaplanes along the shoreline.
Looking for another entertaining evening activity? Bring a blanket or lawn chair and enjoy watching a Hollywood classic film from the five-story-high projection screen. Each evening’s show begins at 8:30 p.m. Plus, there’s free popcorn!
P.S. Keep your eyes peeled for a special Hartzell video which will be shown before each night’s feature film!
