Piqua, Ohio, March 18, 2014 –Hartzell Propeller products will be spinning in front of thousands of attendees at the upcoming banner 40th year of the SUN ‘n FUN International Fly-In & Expo, to be held April 1 to the 6, at Florida’s Lakeland Linder Airport.

Hartzell Propeller Inc. is continuing its long partnership with a trio of world-class aerobatic performers – aviation superstars Sean D. Tucker, Michael Goulian, and Matt Chapman. In addition, Hartzell is sponsoring daytime and night-flight aerobatic performances by Team AeroDynamix, which will be flying Hartzell equipped Van’s RVs, and is supporting parachute flag drops by the Paul McCowan Parachute Team.

“Indicative of our underlying support for all things aviation, Hartzell Propeller is behind a number of exceptional performance-based air shows flying in the skies over SUN ‘n FUN this year,” said President Joe Brown. “Plus, we will be exhibiting our newest Hartzell Trailblazer prop, which is specifically designed for bush planes and back country flying, including one on my own Glasair Sportsman.”

Michael Goulian, whom Hartzell sponsors in the Red Bull Air Races, Sean D. Tucker, and Matt Chapman, who all fly with proprietary Hartzell Propeller equipment and technology, will slice through the skies throughout the week, and Paul McCowan’s Parachute Team will open the show on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.

The next generation Advanced Structural Composite (ASCII™) Hartzell Trailblazer scimitar propeller will be exhibited at Hartzell’s B-034/35 booth at SUN ‘n FUN and also installed on a homebuilt Glasair Sportsman at Glasair Aviation’s outdoor static display MD-017B.

Team AeroDynamix Ride Along for 4 Winners

Team AeroDynamix will perform day and night aerobatic shows under a five-year partnership with Hartzell Propeller, which supplies the flight crews with premium Hartzell composite propellers, spinners, and governors. This year, Hartzell Propeller is giving four lucky Sun ‘n Fun attendees a once-in-a-lifetime chance to ride with Team AeroDynamix’ precision pilots.

Hartzell asks entrants to show how they get ready for Sun ‘n Fun by posting pictures to Twitter, Instagram, Facebook or Pinterest with the hashtag #FlyWithHartzell. The contest has begun and four winners will be chosen at random on April 2. The winning contestants will fly with Team AeroDynamix on April 5. Some restrictions apply; see Hartzellprop.com/FlyWithHartzell for details.
