Engineering Applications Manager
Hartzell Propeller, the global leader in aircraft propeller design and manufacturing, is seeking an experienced Engineering Applications Manager to oversee the company’s Aircraft Applications/Aerodynamic Engineering Group.
Founded on the principle of “Built on Honor” in 1917, Hartzell Propeller designs, develops, tests, manufactures, and supports constant-speed aluminum and composite propeller systems for all categories of aircraft, ranging from general aviation to military applications. The Engineering Applications Manager works closely with our Sales and Design Engineering Group and external customers to specify the integration of propellers to aircraft.
Leveraging an understanding of general aviation aircraft, aerodynamic principles, propeller loads and stresses, and FAA STC ODA procedures, this position supervises Hartzell’s Aircraft Applications/Aerodynamic Engineering Group in performing aerodynamic and structural design of propellers, providing aerodynamic performance and noise predictions, and completing in-flight strain measurement testing of propellers.
