Only a few days remain until EAA AirVenture Oshkosh 2019, and our team is looking forward to being involved in this year’s celebration of aviation history, airshows, education, aircraft displays, and exciting new technology and advances with aviation enthusiasts from around the world. As we countdown the days to Oshkosh 2019, we’re sharing some of the top things to see and do at the event. Today, we’re talking about the informative Tech Talks presented by Hartzell’s propeller experts.

During AirVenture 2019, Hartzell’s propeller experts will host a series of educational and informative Tech Talks at the Hartzell Propeller booth (Booth 296-297 in the Main Aircraft Display Area, next to the EAA AirVenture Welcome Center). Our Tech Talks will cover useful topics based on some of the most frequently asked questions we receive about propeller repair, conversions, and performance. Looking for tips on how to care for and maintain your Hartzell prop? Wondering what type of propeller to choose for your experimental aircraft? Be sure to check out these Tech Talks!

Below is Hartzell Propeller’s Tech Talk schedule:

Tuesday, July 23rd at 10 am – Propeller Care and Basic Maintenance

Wednesday, July 24th at 10 am – How to Pick a Prop for Experimental Aircraft

Thursday, July 25th at 10 am – Composite Propeller Minor Repair

While you’re at the Hartzell Propeller exhibit, you’ll also see a range of two-blade to five-blade constant speed aluminum and structural composite propellers. On display will be the 2-blade composite Trailblazer, 2-blade Bantam and Raptor applications, 4-blade aluminum and composite options, and 5-blade carbon fiber propellers for various aircraft models, including TBM, PC-12, Piper Meridian/M500/M600, and King Air 350.

During EAA week, the Hartzell Propeller exhibit will feature a number of aircraft, including a Cessna A185F with a newly STC’d 3-blade metal propeller, as well as an American Champion Aircraft Super Decathlon with the 2-blade carbon fiber Trailblazer prop. Stop by to see Rodney Jarrell’s custom patriotic Vans RV10, named Liberty, which salutes veterans from all the U.S. military services.

In addition to hosting Tech Talks, our propeller experts will be on hand to answer any questions you may have about propeller maintenance, overhaul and repair services, and our Top Prop performance conversion program. We encourage you to stop in for a Tech Talk and stay to learn more about our next-generation propellers.
