Earlier this year, we teamed up with the Dorothy Ebersbach Endowment Fund and Redbird Flight Simulations to equip Case Western Reserve University (CWRU) with a cutting edge medical helicopter simulator. As we reported previously, the simulator is among the most advanced in the world.

CWRU has released a new video discussing the crucial role this simulator will play in training the next generation of flight nurses. Watch it, and you’ll see why we wanted to be a part of this important project:

Our partnership with Red Bird has yielded many exciting technological advances, including the Redbird Skyhawk, but this project is really special to everyone here at Hartzell. Our technology has made its mark on aviation for nearly a century, but this simulator is making an impact on our community right here in Ohio. It has been a pleasure to be a part of this initiative. We look forward to hearing more about the program’s success.
